The "Shin Gi Tai" Theory by Lyoto "the Dragon" Machida

eng I guide my training based on the Shin Gi Tai theory. It is a unity of mind, technique and body. These pillars are inseparable in learning. If you neglect any of them, your motivation will decrease. Shin represents the spirit, the mind. It is our intention! This force drives us to do the best always. Gi is the technique! But not exactly technical knowledge, it is execution: it is the point where theory and practice come together. It requires training, training and more training to master it. Tai represents the body, the way You express yourself. You have to take care of your self and be healthy. -Lyoto "the Dragon" Machida
